Who We Are:

We are a small cottage industry business producing fine leather and canvas goods from our home in Cedaredge Colorado. Our goal is to keep craftsman's skills alive by making rustic and durable items that can be handed down from generation to generation.

Why Do We Do What We Do:

We started a craft business a while back that we call CreativeTinkering. Actually, we didn’t really START a craft business as much as we decided to start selling the things we were already making so that we could make more things. We are makers and making things is kind of what we do whether anyone sees it or not. But we realized that we were missing out an opportunity to share what we make with others. So now we spend even more of our time making things and every once in a while, we leave the house and show up at a market and actually talk to people. And, as it turns out, we have met the most amazing folks! We get asked great questions and get to hear all kinds of cool stories about family members who made cool things in times past and people who are making cool new things now and people who want to support traditional crafters and are looking for high quality goods. We have come to realize just how curious, creative, and innovative people in Western Colorado are. We come from a long line of hard workers who made things because they had to but also because they enjoyed it. It is our hope to carry on the tradition of creative makers and to share it with anyone who is looking for hand crafted goods that they can pass down to the next generation
